  • Review and approve last month’s meeting minutes
    • Motion to approve by I. Folau

  • Review end of year data
    • Two TSSP Goals
      • #1: 60% of students below or well below benchmark move to at or above benchmark (K-5)
        • K: 71%
        • 1: 45%
        • 2: 13%
        • 3: 16%
        • 4: 8%
        • 5: 36%
        • School Average: 32% moved from below to on grade level
      • #2: 4th and 5th Grade move 60% to below basic skills to on or above RI Model 
        • 4th: 37%
        • 5th: 58%
        • Average of both grades: 48%
    • For 2021/22 school year, goal is to move 80% of students in growth model to typical or above growth
      • School 2020/21 moved 70% of students
    • District Benchmark Goal is 80% reading proficiency schoolwide
      • School: 71% of students is at or above benchmark
    • Notable were the retell scores from 1st through 5th
    • A. Holbrook asked to what the gains can be attributed to
      • Both I. Folau, C. Bronson, C. Schino spoke to the different systems and approaches that were implemented 
  • Proposal to compensate Mrs. McDaniel and Mrs. Vanderwerff for PD and planning
    • C. Schino has a skeleton 5 and 10 year plan for the school
      • Phase 1 of that plan centered on Kindergarten
    • Proposal is to pay for 32 hours total (16 hours each) for their work in development and planning
      • Would come from Cell Tower Funds
    • C. Ely motion to approve
      • Approved unanimously
  • Assure that the current year LAND Trust budget was spent the way SCC planned
    • $52,692 in total LAND Trust
      • $40,000 allocated on aides
        • $29,794 was spent
      • $12,692 allocated on tech
        • $9,312 was spent
      • $6,100 was purchased on texts 
        • Phonics books
        • Phonemic Awareness books (for teachers K-2)
      • A rollover of about $3,000-$4,000 will rollover to the 2021-22 school year
    • $57,044 in total TSSA Budget
      • All of it was allocated to technology
      • $54,069 was spent on Chromebooks and additional iPad
      • ~$3,000 will rollover to the next year
