Typically at the beginning of the school year the PTA has signups available for volunteers in person. During this time since there are no volunteers allowed in school so we are sending out a signup genius.
With creative and innovative ideas we can still accomplish a lot without in person volunteers. One way may be to reach out to our children’s teachers to ask what needs they might have that can be done
at home since we can’t be in the classrooms. Another way is to help with PTA as a member of a committee or general volunteer. At this time we need volunteers for Teacher Appreciation and a Nominating Committee.
Also, we are in need for general volunteers that would be emailed prior to a volunteer opportunity that arises and can sign up then if available.
During these unprecedented times we appreciate the support from our Sprucewood Community. “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.”
Thanks to wonderful Principal Schino, great staff and teachers, and parent/community volunteers, our kids are having a positive experience.
