- SCC Training will be held yearly in the district office. This is for all SCC members. Last meeting is October 7 10AM
- September Meeting:
- Review last year’s LAND Trust plan, whether goals were met, how money was spent. May write preliminary final report.

- Safe Walking Routes (see map below)

- Anna Livingston is presenting the information provided by the school district. She will focus on our sphere of influence as teachers. She will emphasize the importance of proper supervision with technology and appropriate use of technology.
- Electronic Device Plan
- We will follow the state law regarding bell to bell.
- Proposed amendment: based on Building Leadership Team (BLT) recommendation, behavior support data, academic data, and environmental survey data our recommendation is to hire three paraprofessionals to support in the following ways:
- Additional behavior assistant for cafeteria support and behavior support (20 hours weekly)
- Classroom aide for kindergarten (20 hours weekly)
- Classroom aide for 1st grade (20 hours weekly)
- Get a report on any school educational data that may have come in to inform this year’s LAND Trust Plan implementation. Review expenditures for LAND Trust plan.
- Receive School Safety report and Digital Citizenship report from district and begin discussion – this year’s plans are due in December.
- Begin writing Safe Walking Routes (only elementary and middle) plans are due October 31.
- Other
Cell Tower Expenditures: We have approximately $33,000 in our cell tower budget right now. We are projected to receive an additional $15,000 this year over the course of 4 quarters. SCC must approve cell tower expenditures to supplement school needs.
Proposals:
- $500- Book Blitz (literacy extra-curricular)
- $500- Choir Leader (2nd-5th grade extra-curricular Aug-Dec)
- $500- Social Media Manager (post and respond on Instagram, Facebook, ParentSquare & Website)
- $1000- Musical (2 adults $500 each leading 2nd-5th grade extra-curricular Jan-May)
- $300 per month for staff morale (stocking adult wellness area with drinks and snacks, adult PBIS, holiday gifts)
- $1000 for Parent Teacher Conferences meals ($500 per meal 2x a year)
- $500 for additional extracurriculars with administration approval
- Update website (guidelines in August/September) every time you meet
