- Other
- TJ asking about the SEL program from the district
- Answer: Board has voted to begin pilots rolling out in January. Principal Schino will update the committee when more information is learned.
- Cell tower is almost up! Going in, big tree in the back, kids are doing a good job of staying away, 6 foot brick fence to be built around it, city will add some trees for shade!
- Can we request that they aren’t working on the Cell tower on the 23rd for Fun Run? Yes, Principal Schino will make that request
- Principal Schino proposed the SCC approve paying three expenditures from cell tower funds at approximately $3,000.00 total. We currently have $31,176.58 available in cell tower:
- Social Media Management: Christina Van Dam will run our instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Parent Square and DOJO communications (one time $500 stipend for the entire year)
- Choir: Christina Van Dam will run our 2nd-5th grade choir August-December (one time $500 stipend)
- Teacher Morale: monthly items to boost teacher morale (approximately $200 per month to buy snacks, soda, teaching supplies, meals for celebrations, gifts for adult PBIS)
Parker suggesting to double the morale budget.
Mindy also suggesting to increase the budget on these 3 items
Jason is for supporting the doubling budget for teacher morale, keep the choir and social media as is
Brooke seconds Jason’s suggestion, especially if choir is only September to December, SCC would consider and additional $500 if someone wants to lead the choir Jan-May
