- Principal Schino called the meeting to order at 4:10

By May 2023, 80% or more of Sprucewood students will demonstrate typical to above typical growth in basic reading skills according to Acadience Pathways of Progress.

Math Goal: By May 2023, 80% or more of Sprucewood students will demonstrate typical to above typical growth according to Acadience Pathways of Progress.
School Climate Goal: By May 2023, 100% of Sprucewood teachers will demonstrate 4:1 positive to corrective feedback, increase specific feedback occurrences and follow up 90-100% of corrective feedback with a feedback sequence to reinforce when a student demonstrates the desired behavior/skill as evidenced by informal and formal IPOP data.

Sara Lee is our digital citizenship coordinator again this year. She is guiding our Digital Citizenship plan for Digital Citizenship Week October 24th-26th. Sara attended today’s meeting, shared digital citizenship information and answered questions.
- Digital Citizenship lessons will be taught in classrooms Oct 24-26 as a kick off to digital citizenship awareness. Stem will also teach digital citizenship skills in boosters. Sara will send a survey out to teachers in order to look for gaps in digital citizenship learning throughout the school. This year we are expecting an increase in engagement as the lessons are different than in previous years.
- The committee discussed placing digital citizenship information into each teacher’s Canvas course – add digital citizenship links – BLT will discuss on Oct 14th.

- Approve cell tower expenditure (book blitz)
- Ms. Petsche will lead Book Blitz with 5th graders Oct-April. Proposing $500 stipend for her to be this extra-curricular advisor .
- Our SCC does not have enough parent members present today to take a proper vote. This item will be moved to Nov 14th agenda. Principal Schino will send two reminders for next month’s meeting to the committee with the agenda and links for previewing safety and digital citizenship plans from district.
- Ms. Petsche will lead Book Blitz with 5th graders Oct-April. Proposing $500 stipend for her to be this extra-curricular advisor .
- Approve cell tower expenditure (book blitz)
- Adjourn until next month’s meeting November 14, 2022.
