School Community Council Meeting Minutes

AGENDA 

• Call to Order 4:07
• Approve last month’s meeting minutes Melissa makes motion to approve last month’s minutes. Noel seconds the motion.
• Review School Safety Report action items. Last drill of the month/year- fire drill. We are up to protocol and everything went well. Next year our new Assistant Principal will take over. New Bills will impact school safety next year. More to come.
• Assure that the current year’s LAND Trust funds and TSSA funds were spent according to plan.
  • Determine if our current year’s plan made a difference in the area of our goals.
  •  Funding- some on Wellness Room, bulk on Full time social worker, and interventionist, and behavior assistant. We have a great team. Final testing and see how interventions went. Fall to winter we saw improvement.
  •  TSSP- $50,000 for social worker and some for interventionist
  • LANDtrust- Review TSSP data results
• Announce when Fall elections will be held- announced at BTSN- network with new families too. September? Melissa will stay on as chair and Amy can stay on as ECC parent.  May need 2 new parents, 2 teachers next year- 1 EEC, 1 mainstream. Trying to spread it out and build capacity for leadership
