Faculty Spotlight – Mrs. Sjogren

Our Faculty Spotlight this week is third grade teacher Mrs. Sjogren.

My husband’s name is Matt. We have been married for five years. We have two big and friendly German Shepherd dogs; Finn and Haize. I am the oldest sibling in my family, and I have two sisters and one brother.  I went to college at Utah State University for my Bachelors degree and to Southern Utah University for my Masters Degree.  My favorite food is cheeseburgers and crunchy fries.  I love ALL kinds of Crumbl cookies.  In my free time, I love to be outdoors hiking with my dogs and husband. I have two large and happy dogs. Finn is a girl and she is 8 years old. She is part German Shepherd and Siberian Husky. She is quiet and sneaky.  She loves to be in the mountains running free, going for walks, and hates to get in water. Haize is a boy and he is 7 years old. He is a German Shepherd. He loves to play fetch, destroy toys, and dig holes. They are the best of friends! My favorite subject in school has always been reading. I love the power that words hold. Books take you on grand adventures, teach you new things, and inspire you. I love to be near the ocean, the ocean makes my very happy! I love watching and listening the waves and swimming in the water. I am so glad that I get to be a Sprucewood Falcon!
