This week our faculty spotlight is 4th grade teacher Heidi Turner. We are so glad she’s a Sprucewood Falcon.
I am still single but I have a great family. My family consists of my mom, (unfortunately, I lost my Dad a year and a half ago), an older sister, younger brother, Sister-in-law and 2 nieces and 2 nephews. I started college at the University of Utah and finished and graduated from BYU. My Masters degree is from Southern Utah University. My favorite food is Dutch oven BBQ chicken. My favorite treat is Frozen Bananas. In my free time, I like to read and spend time with family and friends. I don’t have any pets right now, but I am looking to adopt 2 kittens when I find the right ones. My favorite subject in school was Science: I loved learning what makes everything work. I am currently trying to visit all 50 states. Every time I take a trip, it is to check off one of my states. In between, it is usually a trip to Disneyland! I love to learn. If you have started a new hobby or want to share something, come and teach me or come share. I love to hear what you are doing!
