Falcon Friday Spotlight: Catherine Abundo!
This week, we are excited to spotlight Catherine Abundo, who has loved teaching in the same bright and happy classroom at Sprucewood Elementary for an incredible 21 years! She is Sprucewood’s Special Education Resource Teacher.
Catherine and her husband have been happily married for 30 years and are proud parents of two amazing adult children, Kyle (26) and Ellie (23), who both attended Sprucewood! When she isn’t teaching, Catherine loves traveling, enjoying the great outdoors with her fur babies, walking, hiking, reading, and even cleaning! Her happiest place is swimming in the warm ocean waters of the Bahamas!
When asked what she loves most about Sprucewood, Catherine shared that it’s the wonderful staff, students, and families who make this school feel like one big, happy family!
