I have a husband, Matt and 2 kids. We have been married for 19 years. Our son is named Peyton and he’s 16 and a sweeper at Sprucewood, and our daughter is named Meryn. She’s almost 14. The kids go to Jordan High school and Matt works for the Forest Service. We like to spend time together watching movies or bingeing TV shows and eating snacks.

I graduated from Southern Utah University in 2003.  English and Theater were my favorite classes in school. They kind of go together if you think about it. Lots of reading for both subjects and reading is still my favorite.

In my free time, I like to read, watch TV, or  go road tripping (sometimes just a day trip, sometimes for weeks).  I usually take vacations to Southern California. When I was in 8th grade I promised myself that I would live there someday. I haven’t made it yet, but my parents moved there, so I go visit them. I love the sunshine, ocean breezes, the beach, Hollywood, Disneyland, live theater, museums, urban hiking, different places to eat, and pretending that I’m a Californian while I’m there.

I have a terrible orange and white cat named Bronco. He’s not the nicest cat. He likes to chase my kids up our stairs. SOMETIMES he likes to give cat snuggles and he ALWAYS wakes me up in the middle of the night to turn on the bathroom faucet so he can get a drink.  The attached photo is me with my old cat, Zippy, who died, but who was a much better cat than my current one.
