In honor of National Custodian Day, we want to spotlight our Assistant Facility Manager Mr. Brown and our Senior Sweeper Peyton Lee.
Mr. Lane Brown: I graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and a minor in Arabic. My favorite thing about Sprucewood is spending time and hanging out with the EEC students!
Mr. Peyton Lee: I have been at Sprucewood since 2019 working custodial. I am also a recent college graduate working for the City of Saratoga Springs. My mother is the librarian here at Sprucewood as well. In my off time, I like to 3D model and print, work on my model railroad, play video games, and build LEGO sets. My favorite part of working at Sprucewood is the kids and the adults here. The people are the largest part of why I have stayed at this school for so long.
We are so grateful for everything that Mr. Brown and Mr. Lee do to make Sprucewood the amazing place that it is!
