- Overview of proposed meeting dates. Determining if we need to change the January meeting date. We will keep the same for now.
- Went over Canyons District Annual SCC Training options.
- September 30th we will do Safe Walking Routes, Digital Citizenship and School Safety Plan.
- We can use Sprucewood’s website, go to the drop down menu “Community” to look at the upcoming Agenda of SCC.
- As members of SCC we can add actions to the monthly agenda as needed. As members of SCC we decide where our budget is going and the principal asks for our votes.
- Reading and Math we are looking at Pathways of Progress. School Climate: increase in student talk and decrease in students demonstrating internalizing risk factors according to our SRSS-I data.
- We have two budgets. One is the TSSP budget and the other is the LAND Trust budget.
- BLT: Building Leadership Team comprised mostly of teachers but also includes Catherine Abundo.
- Went over examples of TSSP goals and budgets from the past to help understand what our decisions and voting are based on for new members joining SCC.
- We would like to try to put in some agenda items of what we are thinking towards the budget and other big decisions as members of SCC before the meeting date.
